Overall

What I like most about Notre Dame College is the size and athletics. It is always a great sight to see half of the student body coming out to watch a sporting event. As an athlete I can say that all that support does really help.

Academics

The schools classes and class sizes are wonderful. The teachers are always willing to help and always keep class exciting. When it come to hw I would say you have to put in at least 30 hours a week on hw to be successful there.

College Life

The school atmosphere is great with the size ratio that we have. Every one is friendly and always willing to talk. We have 24 hour security with a few police officers who patrol our campus on a regular basses.

Overall

Notre Dame College (OH) is a small liberal arts school located in South Euclid, OH. It is quite small, nestled in the middle of a nice residential Cleveland suburb. Community houses surround the campus on all sides. What I enjoy the most about NDC is the small community sense of the school. I have met people from around the world and each has a different unique story as to how they came to be here. My most memorable experiences all involve the great friends and people whome I have come to meet while attending school here. NDC made me a better person by providing to me a diverse community and ample opportunity to succeed. Some tips for prospective students are to look past the small setting if you see that as a negative because you will truly find the people here are the most worthwhile part of this educational experience.

Academics

Class sizes are very small (most I have had is 28) but average is 17. You will have your fair share of homework and the profs keep you very busy but you will learn what you NEED to know. You will never have a difficult finding help with school work at NDC. Profs, tutors, and the learning center are there every day to help students.

College Life

As far as the school itself there is not much of a social scene but there are lots of clubs and organizations. Luckily, there is a large social scene (clubs, bars, activities) in the surrounding area of about 10 miles. Campus security is adequate. Things happen but I personally have never felt unsafe in over 3 years. NDC has LOTS of sports teams! These games are our main social events on the weekends. We do not have much for facilities on our campus for our teams to play games in except for Softball, Volleyball and M&W Basketball but the teams do play home games at schools very close to NDC!

Overall

I am a first quarter freshman, but what I like most about the school is that is small so it has an intimate atmosphere. You really get now your instructors and they get to know you by name. They are able to easily identify your skills and weaknesses. when I went through orientation, I remember thinking I am going to change my major to marine biology, then education then I was undecided but what I felt confidant about is that they will help me identify what best suites me with my style of learning and what would suit me best its personalized.

Academics

My classes are small, the largest class I have contains 20 people. Less than what was in my high school classes. The instructors are caring and uplifting. They know we are new and it takes sometime for us to get accustom to a new atmosphere. They did not over load us at first with a lot of work and they challenge us to think about what we have to say and what we believe in and then defend our reason why we think or chose or believe in what we chose.

College Life

There are many activities on campus to participate in. I am a student football athlete, the first 3 weeks of school were really rough because of the football camp that we had to go to. I really like the coach and his recruiting staff. It is again nice to be at a small school so your technique can be critiqued and improved. The campus security is constantly patrolling the campus which is great because I think it deters criminal activity

Overall

When I first took the tour of the campus I was not sure what to think, because this was a new college to me and I must admit I was very nervous about it all. When I got introduced to my tour guide she was very welcoming and all of my nerves went down the drain and I felt very at ease. After the tour I met with the counselor who would determine what classes I would take and how long it would possibly take me to graduate, and then I met with the cheerleading coach would also help make this visit very helpful. Overall, the tour was great and it made my decision just that much easier.

Academics

My classes consist of a few general requirements before I enter my actual program which is Early Childhood Education, and I look forward to the classes and getting back to learning. I haven't heard anything about the professors just yet, but judging from the college and the people, they are probably just that good. The workload I believe will fit my schedule and life very easily, seeing that I will work partime and go to school fulltime until graduate.

College Life

I will be hopefully cheerleading during my years here at Notre Dame and I will believe that joining an academic group will help me better, because I will hopefully make a lot of new friends while attending the college. The campus safety I was advised on was very essential and they take good care of the campus and make it very safe.
