Overall

Overall I think I received a wonderful education at Creighton. Small classes and attentive teachers made my ability to learn and take in information easier. The teachers at Creighton are very involved with their students, they want to see them succeed which for me was really helpful. Small class size also helped. I don't learn well in classes of 450 people. The journalism school is fantastic. The professors are very hands on and really prepared me for the real world. You have to live on campus the first 2 years, which at first seemed like a bummer, but actually integrated me more with my peers. I was able to meet and become friends with a larger group of people than I would have gotten to integrate with had I moved off campus my second year.

College Life

I joined a sorority and left it after 6 months. Creighton is a small school and while many people are part of Greek life, it' not necessary the way it is at some bigger schools. I play intramural basketball and football, very fun. Weekends were filled with house parties and trips to the Bluejay Bar and Grill right next to campus. Basketball is huge at Creighton, while I never went much, all my friends did (and still do).
