Student Ratings
Michelle Thatcher Alumnus - Grad Year 2000
Without a doubt, academics are the reason to go to the University of Chicago. The challenges I faced there helped me develop critical thinking skills that continue to serve me in my career. The workload was at times overwhelming, especially when working a part-time job. The quarter system really forces you to be aggressive about time management and savvy about the amount of effort you'll spend on any given task or assignment. Though again, these are important skills for any career.
Elena Armenteros Alumnus - Grad Year 2007
I was enrolled in the Masters Degree program in child psychology. The Comer Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago child and adolescent psychiatry program is recognized as a leader in research, training, and clinical care, and you can feel this when you are enrolled in the program. The professors are with you every step of the way, and the children were great to work with.
