Academics Rating

When I attended NWMSU out of high school the general ed courses were a little large but any courses in your major were scaled way down. Teachers are always willing to help and go over and beyond to make sure you understand the material.

Academics Rating

At Northwest the class sizes are rather nice. My biggest class was a lecture class and it had less than 100 students in the class. This is nice because you are not lost in a sea of students. Most classes have less than 30 people in them, this is about average, and is quite nice because the teacher is able to actually get to know the students. The teachers here know what they are doing, and are very helpful. For the most part the teachers want you to succeed and pass the class. The workload is not overly bearing unless you have three projects and two tests in the same week. Typically, you will have to spend 3 hours a night doing school work.
