Community College of Philadelphia (CCP)

Overall

Depending on campus, most items vary from teachers, students and courses. The North East and annex St Hubert were very nice and resourceful. I enjoyed being in class and completing online education. Very little help as far as the Bursar and Financial Aid at these locations.

Academics

Great teachers with fair amount of pertinent class and home work (even in Distance Education). Class size is good. Only suggestion would be to have students become more involved in class. Every class I sit in the teacher allows half of the student body to just sit and say nothing while the other half does all the talking. I want to hear their opinions too. Could we encourage teachers to CALLL on students so they participate more often.

Campus Facilities & Safety

Love the North East campus, would not recommend the North West. North East has brand new, beautiful facility with great work area, computer access and printing capabilities! Being able to print helps me A LOT since i can not afford to keep a printer with ink! Parking has improved greatly too with the new addition and new labs. I find a lot of negativity surrounding the North West campus, its students which then transfers onto teachers.
