Reviews for Oregon State University, Corvallis
I really love the University. I love the greek life. The students are very diverse, the professors are diverse and there is alot of different people to visit with and learn from. The community is very rewarding.
The classes are a nice size, the campus is small enough to feel comfortable, the workload is hard. I wish that OSU had a full nursing program, but it does not. Therefore I am taking premed classes and getting a bachelors of science and will go somewhere else for Nursing school.
There is alot to do on campus. The athletics are good, I love being a Pac 12 school and all that entails. The community of Corvallis really backs its University and is very involved. I like the small city that it is.
I loved the music program and Marching band is my most memorable time. I made some good friends. The booksstore is great and user friendly. The school layout is pretty good.New students need more help from acedemic advisers.
To me it was to difficult with teachers who spoke very bad English especially in Math. They cover all you need and have study groups to help those that struggle. But a lot of profrssors are not real clear especially those who are not fluent in English.
I stuggled to much with my acedemics to get involved with this but seems like it was out there I just did not have the extra time. When I could get involved it was fun. Most fun was just making friends in the hall I lived and playing cards or watching movies or games when I had time which was not often but fun when I could.
