LaBaron and Kay Harvey Hairdressing Academy prepares beginning students for beauty careers, while also offering career advancement opportunities to licensed professionals.
Located in Brockton, Kansas, LaBaron and Kay Harvey Academy has several other campuses throughout the state as well as several in Massachusetts.
Programs of study at the Brockton campus include Cosmetology and Manicuring.
There is also a Barber Crossover program for licensed barbers who would like to branch out into other areas of the beauty profession.
Part-time, full-time, day and evening courses are all offered to give students maximum flexibility.
For admissions, you need only have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 16 years old. Those without a high school diploma or equivalent may still enroll if they pass the Wonderlic entrance exam. All applicants must also have an interview with a LaBaron and Kay representative.
LaBaron and Kay offers comprehensive financial aid for eligible students, which includes federal sources like Pell and SEOG grants, Stafford loans and Plus loans. LaBaron and Kay also participates in vocational rehabilitation programs and veteran’s benefits.
