Florida State College at Jacksonville is a small hometown college in my opinion. It has helped me transition from high school into college with ease. I have had a few hard classes but I have yet to receive lower than a B. The teachers are very one-on-one with you and make sure to make you feel comfortable in classes asking questions. I do wish I was able to afford to go to a big university and have a school football team and meet new people but for now this the best school for the money you pay! I am working on my A.A now and will finish my prerequisites for k-12 education hopefully very soon! The school has a very good aura about it and I am very pleased so far with it! My favorite part is being able to experience college with many of child hood friends! The nearest location to me is about 15 minutes away so that is where most of my graduating class ended up. If I had to give any students tips on what to exspect or how to help I would say to STUDY!! It is much harder than high school but you learn so much more!!

The school ok, and affordable for people that wanna save money, plus some campus like downtown, kent and south are ok, but not deerwood though. It's best to go to downtown to do paper work, it's a lot faster.
