Reviews for Edison State College
I think this school is good for anyone that is just starting out in college. It is a good building block for college, allows an individual to learn what to do for future experiences. The campus library is great it has multiple areas to study and many resources. I liked that the most teachers genuinely cared and would give us time to talk to them in office hours.
Most of the Professors are great! I've had great teachers this past year. Edison has many different class and possible electives, they are a growing school that keeps coming up with new programs to improve the college. The workload isn't bad at all, it gets hard if you have a lot of classes but never unbearable. The class sizes are small, mostly thirty five students or less, which gives you more one on one time.
The atmosphere is easy going and comfortable, there are many clubs from what I have heard. Organization seems to be important; campus safety is a priority, they have security all over campus and have emergency poles in almost every parking lot. Edison hasn't developed an athletics program yet but they do have intramural sports and they always have some kind of activity going on by the student building.
Overall Edison State college is a fantastic school. There are many opportunities offered to us and many memorable experiences. I enjoyed spending time at lunch, studying and eating with friends.
My school program I'm gearing toward is Medical, I want to major to become an RN. The professors and the workload is a lot, but I know down the road it will be worth it/
The social atmosphere is great, people are very nice and caring.
Edison State College has so many options for classes! I wasn't sure what I wanted to major in but I was able to discover what calsses were right for me by my elective class options. It was a option for me!
My professors were wonderful, they really wanted me to be successful! I had small class sizes where I was able to ask questions and get the most of the classroom experience. I built great relationships with my professors.
I served as Student Government Presedent! My involment was key to my success as a student. My involvement gave me real world experience for planning events and I had fun doing it! I made great friends and connections in the communtiy!
