Reviews for University of New England, Biddeford
Overall, I am pleased with my decision to attened the University of New England. This is a great school and atmosphere to be a part of. Academically, there are so many opportunities to succeed with the help of willing professors and a great Academic Success Center, where tutors are available to help as well. Sporting Events are a lot of fun to attend, and there are many clubs and organizations that meet the interests of many people. The housing is very clean and nice. It's a great place to meet new people and broaden your horizens. I have become very close with my roommates and have made connections that will last a lifetime. I would advise prospective students to not be afraid to speak up, whether it's in class, in front of friends, or in front of strangers. Going to college is a fresh start, and it's a great way to express your true self.
The University of New England is academically superb. Class sizes are relatively small, which can ensure that students get the attention and help they need. Professors are very approachable and available to help you succeed. The workload kind of varies depending on majors, but all of it is reasonable.
There are so many clubs and organizations that it's kind of hard to choose which one to get involved with. Either way, it's hard not to find something that interests you. The campus feels very safe all of the time. Campus security is always available, at all hours, to answer questions, help, or just to give you a ride to your dorm room at night. Athletics are very successful and fun to be a part of. If you're not playing, you're usually on the sideline cheering friends on. There's usually always something happening on the weekends, whether it's a movie, bingo/trivia, or floor bonding, you're never bored.
