Overall I think the school is very organized and professional. I like the fact the constant availability of campus resources. I can tell that Malcolm X College faculty members really desire for us to be successful in life. I like that the school is somewhat diverse in nationality.

Academics

Malcolm X's classes are not that big. They are very personal. I do not feel like I'm just a number. I feel like the teachers and classmates really make an effort to get to know one another. There are a wide varieties of programs so most likely a student will be able to choose a career that they are interested in. One thing that I'm sure all students at Malcolm X appreciate is that the workload is not a burden. Teachers carefully explain the work to the best of their ability and they answer every question so that there's no confusion when we go home and do our homework.

Campus Facilities & Safety

Malcolm X college has a warm campus atmosphere. I was afraid that since it was a community college, it would feel a lot like high school with the immaturity included. Fortunately I was wrong. The school is very professional and most (if not all) of the students are mature and come to school to work and not play around. The school has plenty of facilities such as bathrooms that are clean and on an academic level there are plenty of computers and different computer labs. The library is beneficial for students and it is well organized. I do not drive so I can't say much about parking but I know the students are grateful that Malcolm X has its own parking lot.

Overall

I love that they have a smoking ban on campus. That was a great idea. The school is great and at a convenient location. I love riding my bike there and its nice when its hot to just sit on the roof by the tax les thy set out and just relax.

Academics

I love how how all the professors are so helpful and great. I had two sciences classes that were pretty hard but the teachers availability made it so much easier to understand. They always gave extra help to who ever needed it. I wish I would of had teachers like this in high school.

Campus Facilities & Safety

Ant complain about a thing there is always.more than enough parking for both cara and bikes. The school is always so clean and the computers are everywhere. No excuse if you don't have a computer. And they are open late.

Overall

The easy of its location and the courses that the school offer. And with just walking in and asking for help to find my back to school I had no problems. I look forward to attending Malcolm X College!

Academics

Not sure just yet I am still working with someone to register for classes. I understand that the school is one of he best in Chicago to offer the nursing classes that I am looking for and also to offer help in any and all areas that I may need help in!

Campus Facilities & Safety

I love the fact that I can walk to school and walk out and jump right on the train and get to my car in a matter of min! I feel that it is a safe school to attend because of it security and location and also the lighting of the area that is around the school.
