North Country Community College has the distinction of being part of a state university system. It also has the distinction of numerous high rankings from quality publications.
NCCC is located in Saranac, New York, in the Adirondack Mountains. It has several additional campuses in Malone and Ticonderoga, as well.
NCCC is part of the respected State University of New York (SUNY) system. Over the years, publications like Washington Monthly and Community College Week have ranked it as one of the best community colleges in the United States.
It is also one of the fastest-growing colleges. Students come from throughout New York State and even from New England to receive professional and transfer degrees.
NCCC’s academics feature a distinctive blend of career-oriented and liberal arts majors:

NCCC awards scholarships to select students outside of the county. Students may also apply for federal loans. In order to continue receiving financial aid, students must maintain a certain GPA.
All applicants must complete an admissions application and submit transcripts or a copy of their GED. Applicants may also submit ACT or SAT scores.
