Student Ratings

Student at This School - Grad Year 2015

Academics Rating

The first classes taken towards your major, the weed out courses, are always difficult. Subsequent classes tend to be more manageable, interesting, and more practical than the typical theoretical foundations of most educational programs. Most classes tend to give a fair amount of work relative to the breadth of the area, and the professors work to make every class engaging. There are very few large classes, other than the first weed out lectures that you'll meet regardless of your discipline.

Alumnus - Grad Year 1991

Academics Rating

Most classes (except for surveys) are small. The professors, for the most part, cared a great deal for their students. There is a great emphasis on liberal arts, yet the science and engineering are also extremely strong. All in all, the school is extremely well-rounded, academically, and delivers an exceptional education.
