Reviews for Pomona College
Amazing professors teaching small, interesting classes. Twenty years after graduating, the friends I made at Pomona are still my closest friends. Beautiful, spacious campus with gorgeous landscaping, a state-of-the-art athletic center, and interesting architecture.
I was an English major but still had plenty of time to dabble into other areas: fine arts, world religions, foreign language. I'm confident a huge part of the reason I won graduate school scholarships and international fellowships was because of the letters of recommendations I received from professors who really knew me, educated me, and made special efforts for me.
There's something for everyone at Pomona and because it's such a small school, it's possible to participate in whatever interests you without feeling like you have to beat out hundreds of other people. Relaxed atmosphere. Lots of time to hang with friends. I wish I'd had a car at Pomona College.
