Overall

I liked the layout of the campus. There is little to no housing on campus, but plenty of places nearby. The nightlife and activities available are close by and within walking distance. Mill Ave is the main spot for this and has lots of places to eat, drink and be merry. The campus is quite large and has all of the classes located throughout the main area. The football stadium is behind the off campus living areas near Mill Ave.

Academics

I took a few science classes here and the sizes are large. The work load is comparable to other schools and is quite competitive. There are many different programs to take and a large selection of classes. The school has an option to take limited classes as well for non-degree purposes and students could potentially matriculate into the main program.

College Life

There are lots of social activities at this school. There are many organizations both social and educational. They have a large greek system. There are plenty of spots within walking distance of the campus to enjoy nightlife and food. The athletics at this school is in the Pac-12 conference, which offers many competitive sports programs. The only problem is it does get very hot from about April to September, with temperatures well over 100 degrees, however during the winter it tends to be mild in climate.

Overall ASU was a fantastic school. There is plenty to do on campus and in the surrounding area in terms of nightlife, movies, concerts and general milling about. The academics have had a bad name in the past but as with many things in life: you get out what you put in.

Academics

Classes can be very big especially the lower level classes like humanities 101 and psychology 101. Once you get out of the lower level classes though class sizes can be as small as 8 students. The faculty is top notch and they care about your success as long as you do as well.

College Life

There are always plenty of sporting events to attend at a division one school. ASU also provides many wonderful theater and symphonic experiences. Writing this makes me want to go back immediately. The people are generally very nice and meeting new people is pretty easy.

Overall

A large, but great academic college that is still growing and building facilities around the campus area. The football arena really needs to be rebuilt. Seems old and out dated to me. the college offered help in tutoring and the professors were always available to the students.

Academics

School of business is really growing as is ranked quite highly. The school is expanding and building over on Scottsdale Blvd. They got rid of the old and dirty frat houses about 3 or 4 yrs ago and have built new buildings for other academic purposes.

College Life

Excellent in all areas. My husband and I had the best time with our son attending football games, social events, graduation. Restaurants were fabulous..loved Mill Avenue and am glad that they are rebuilding it as it had gone down hill a few years ago. We loved going to the Fiesta Bowl and all it's activities, too.

Overall

Arizona State University is an outstanding school. Not only is the campus beautiful, although everyone that is on campus and surrounds the campus is amazingly kind. It is such a diverse school that has so much to offer to everyone. Everyone that I have talked to that goes to Asu has been so helpful, and have gave me a large variety of tips on what to do for college.

Academics

the class size varies from around 400 students, and all of the professors are excellent. Although the professors have a large amount of student; they truly try their best to help out each one of their students. The workload can be large, although ASU makes studying and time management allot for manageable.

College Life

Arizona State University has such a great atmosphere, and there are always amazing vibes. They offer so many clubs from athletic clubs, to academic clubs, to clubs about eating tacos. It is so amazing to see such a diverse selection at one school. There are many wonderful organizations around the campus, and the campus is very safe. You never feel danger around as long as your on campus. The school has a great athletic program, and football is huge at ASU. All athletes take their sport, and school seriously which is inspiring. Another great thing about ASU is their are always great weekend activities going on. For example there are games going on in the lounges of the dorm that everyone can join in on, or there are simply parties around campus. Tempe is also a great place for all the ASU students to bike ride, long board, and hike on the weekends; which never gets boring!

Overall

Based on personal experience, I enjoyed that ASU gave off a very soothing and calm environment. The campus was very professional, yet easy to follow along with. I like that the school offers so much in not only academics, but extracurricular activities and organizations. I find it very convenient that the school supplies a shuttle bus that transfers students to and from each of the four campuses that belong to Arizona State. All parts of the university are unique and beautiful in their own way. Being a future student to the college, I was greeted by multiple current students where they assisted me on my visit. The friendly atmosphere the school gives made my visit memorable.

Academics

Arizona State University offers a countless amount of classes and programs. The university has established four campuses through out the state of Arizona. The class size ranges on average to about two hundred students. Many of the professors are very educated and have received a doctorates. In addition, many of the professors of ASU's alumni, therefore being familiar and comfortable of the campus and how its system works. Arizona State also offers Honors courses. The college contains an abundant variety of courses and programs to fulfill towards your chosen major.

College Life

Arizona State University possess a very diverse campus, that will intrigue all sorts of personalities and interests. In the beginning of the school year, the campus holds what is called a Club Rush, that displays all the different clubs and organizations that is offered on campus. Students can involve themselves in academic clubs, student government, dance, sports, sororities, and much more. The university also provides the opportunity for students to participate in NCAA sports available for all genders and ethnics. The overall atmosphere of Arizona State can be defined as very welcoming and safe. Any student coming from any part of the country will find themselves comfortable on campus in no time.

I love the design and layout of the downtown campus. Being fairly new it has all the ammenities one could think of or want. The memorable experiences I have had so far are visiting my older brother and sister during their years living on campus. Even at a young age I could tell what an amazing school it was and could not wait to be part of such a tradition.

Academics

I have not started taking classes as of yet. Will begin fall 2014. From the perspective of those who I know who do currently attend Arizona State University they have described nothing but positive experiences to me. Their classes are neither too small nor to large. Their professors appear to be truly involved, understanding, and caring individuals. Though the workload is more than that in high school it is not beyond what they had expected.

College Life

I have attended functions on and around campus. The atmosphere has always been fabulous and I have always felt safe. I have been on Arizona State University's campus numerous times over the years as my older brother and sister attended ASU. I have seen many positive changes that make me excited to attend. The athletics are fantastic, there is such a Sun Devil spirit at all of the events. There is always something going on at ASU that makes you proud to be one of their current, former, or future students.

Overall

The opportunities at ASU are endless. Any major imaginable is available; there is an infinite variety of research opportunities; and Barrett's, the Honors College is Ivy League quality education and opportunities for a state school price. Of course, while much of the housing is delightful, the cost of room and board is rather excessive, and there's not much room to reduce that cost. The school's application is also limiting for transgender students like myself, who would prefer an option in the "Male/Female" selection box that accommodated for our gender identity.

Academics

As a prospective student, most of my opinions come from my older sister's experience as a student at ASU for three years, now. She describes the class variety as a delight, although she notes that without the opportunity to take smaller classes that Barrett's, the Honors College, offers, the large class size would be a deterrent. However, she describes the vast majority of her professors as excelling in their field.

College Life

From my numerous visits to ASU, and especially to Barrett's, the Honors College complex, I've determined the ASU Tempe campus to be incredibly liberal, relaxed, and accepting, all three of which are traits that I require of my future college. The school accommodates for all walks of life, with clubs like an Anime club, an LGBT club, and beyond that, even a quiddich team.

Overall

The school overall is a good school, the only concern that I have about this school is that the graduation rate is only 32%. I think that I would go to this school because it seems fairly safe and I think I would have a great time.

Academics

I believe this school has average programs and enormouse class sizes. Despite the enormouse class sizes I hear that the school has well respected academic programs in Education, Business and Engineering.

College Life

I think the school has a good atmosphere and people are friendly. Considering that the campus is one of the largest in the country it seems very safe overall. I hear that this school is a party school so I do not think people would take me seriously if i graduated from here.

I am a prospective student, but my sister goes there! I would love to follow in her footsteps and be a Sun Devil! My sister loves it there and ever since i was young i just aways had an idea that i woud be attending ASU.

Academics

In my highschool classes and programs are boring and assigned to you. you have no freedom as to you what want to learn. thats why i think college is going to be a little more interesting since we get to choose what we actually want to learn.

College Life

At millenium high school the people there are nuts. Its alot of drama so i try to stay away from crowds and i do my own thing. i cant wait to get out of highschool so i can be apart of arizona state university.
