Maria Miranda Student at This School - Grad Year 2014
Another thing I like about UTA is that it is not a BIG campus, but it is also not small. As a freshman, I remember being freaked out about how big classes would be, but they were not as bad as I thought. Some of the basic classes, of course, will be larger than some of your major classes but it is still an okay student to teacher ratio. Most of the professors are interested in helping you and talk to you if you have any question, etc. Workload, of course, is nothing like high school, but I think college is more about being responsible and become more independent. Professors will help you out but would not constantly continue to remind you about your responsibilities as students, if you want to succeed you have to put effort yourself.
Amlan Datta Alumnus - Grad Year 2011
Workload in almost all the courses was heavy, but worthwhile, and helpful in understanding the topics or concepts. Most professors and academic coaches were helpful, were knowledgeable in their areas, and seemed to work fine in this new online format.
