Valdosta Technical College (VTC) in Georgia provides technical training that enables students to start new careers or advance in their current ones.
VTC has a wide variety of certificate, diploma, degree and non-credit continuing education programs. Classes are held onsite during the day, in the evenings and on the weekends. There are also online programs available to those who want to learn remotely from the comfort of their own home or office.
The school's special offerings include technical certificates which are accelerated short courses designed to be completed in anywhere from a few weeks to one year. In addition, there are elaborate diploma programs offered that combine academics with apprenticeship opportunities.
To be considered for admissions to VTC, applicants must be at least 16 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will need to be able to meet the physical requirements for various courses as well.
Tuition fees at VTC vary by class and/or program, and financial aid is administered to those who qualify.
