Reviews for Bryant University, Smithfield
This was my first choice college. Thankfully I got in and will enter as a freshman in the fall. I have visited and toured this campus many times and kept coming back to it as my first college choice. It is ranked as one of the top business schools in the country. The academic program appears to be rigorous. I plan to major in actuarial science and the job placement rate for this is high. Bryant actually prepares and allows you to take the first two tests to become an actuary before you graduate. This is something that many schools did not offer. I can acutally major in actuary here, where many schools only allow this to be a minor. I love the grounds, the division one sports, and the social aspects of Bryant. The school is small enough to meet many people and know your professors on a personal level.
Class sizes are small. You seem to be able to get to know your professors on a personal level. The professors all have said they are available at almost any time to help you. The seem genuinly ready to help and prepare you for your future. The campus seems to be ahead of technology. Every student gets the same laptop upon movein day. Everyone is on the same page. There is a ticker room where the stock market is actually invested into.
There are many clubs on campus. Bryant was rated one of the safest campuses in the nation. There are many activites on campus and there are also shuttle buses which take you into Providence where much night life happens. I am also interested in the sophmore experience where you can study abroad for two weeks during break.
