Southwestern College in Chula Vista, California, is one of the only public community colleges in southern San Diego. Southwestern provides residents of South County with the education and preparation needed to enroll in a four-year program.
Academics at the school include more than 310 associate’s degree and certificate program options, including concentrations like Architecture, Emergency Medical Technology, Pharmaceutical and Laboratory Science, Photography and Digital Imaging.

Students seeking scholarships from the school must fill out the scholarship application anytime from early January to mid March.
