As the largest public policy PhD program in America, Pardee RAND Graduate School (PRGS) offers extensive resources to its students. Among these is an extremely high level of research activity, in which all PRGS students participate. By the end of your time at Pardee RAND, you’ll have a PhD in addition to on-the-job experience from your research work.
In order for its students to develop as complete intellectuals and professionals, Pardee RAND Graduate School seeks to combine theoretical and practical learning in its academics. The curriculum also focuses on recent changes in policy research, so graduates will be prepared for what’s happening in public policy now and in the future.
Though tuition at PRGS is expensive, the school offers many financial aid opportunities. Fellowships at PRGS are the main source of funding, but a select few scholarships are also available for first-year students.
The admissions application for Pardee RAND Graduate School is available online. The school requires a resume, personal essays, GRE or GMAT, three letters of recommendation and official transcripts. All applicants must also pay a $50 admissions fee.
