Reviews for University of Alaska, Southeast
I was on student government at the school so I was more involved with the other students and activities. If I wasn't doing that then I wouldn't have been so busy and involved. All I can say is get involved and try to attend things because the campus is so small that in order to really get the most out of it you have to get more involved.
This is where I had a problem with the school in that they didn't offer my degree. This got frustrating because their amount of offered classes was very limited to specific things. Also some of the classes that were offered only every other year or on certain semesters
They didnt really have any clubs that I was interested in but if that happened it was very easy to start one. I wouldn't have known that if I wasn't involved in student government. There was virtually no Greek life if any students were interested in that.
I really like that they have a study abroad program after someone has attended for one year.
The staff is very helpful when it comes to academics. The staff spend one-on-one time with the student and help him or her with any questions or comments.
College life is creative and fun. They make the best out of campus activities and have a variety of activities.
