Academics Rating

I have found the environment to be academically stimulating. There are plentiful and incredible research opportunities. Students are also very proud of Smith and of being smart. This is so important to me! Hardworking community. Professors accessible and kind, amazing new college president. Students do not compare grades, but compete by emphasizing stress levels. I have not personally found this to be a problem, and consider Smith to be less stressful than my high school; the school work here is intense but all fulfilling. Smith students are heady, passionate, and value inclusivity especially in social justice realms.
