Franklin Pierce Law Center is a division of the University of New Hampshire in Concord, New Hampshire. Franklin Pierce Law Center offers a personalized learning environment and diverse concentrations within the law field. Franklin Pierce’s law programs also integrate such professional activities as internships and research.
Students in the J.D. program may concentrate on such diverse legal areas as:
- Business law
- Copyright law
- Criminal law
- E-commerce law
- Family law
- Intellectual property law
- Patent law
Students pursuing these and other concentrations may also focus on social justice and ways of integrating it into the law.
Academics are enhanced by numerous other campus activities, which include mock trial events, internships and attendance at professional lectures. Since Franklin Pierce is an intimate campus, students also engage in collaborative research and other projects with faculty. Students may even offer pro bono and other community services at the school’s Social Justice Institute.
Applicants will need to complete an online admissions application and submit transcripts recommendation letters, a personal statement, a resume and LSAT scores.
Franklin Pierce awards academic merit scholarships, need-based scholarships and scholarships to under-represented groups. They also offer need-based grants, through the University of New Hampshire. Other types of financial aid include private scholarships and federal aid sources, like work-study, Pell grants and loans.
