Pierce is online schooling. Perfect for me due to the fact I am a 47 female, mother on 2 young adult sons. My sons have moved on with their lives. My degree I currently have is an associates medical field. Worked in that area 20 plus years. I had 2 severe accidents. 2010 a motor home hit me while I was walking. I had multiple Lt sided fractures, facial and severe brain damage. Was in a coma 3 plus mo. I did wake up and relearned everything as a child would have to. I spent 3 mo in a nursing home. 2011 I had an auto accident. Was helicoptered to a trauma center. Fractures my whole spine, hips to skull. Had to have a halo for my neck injury. Bilateral arms, ribs and sternal fractures. I am in Disability and no longer able to work. I have a goal to get a new degree and be able to get off of disability to work again. Pierce staff has been grand towards me. The information I needed and hoped for was given to me. Anyone of all ages would be pleased to be a student through Pierce.
