Reviews for Francis Tuttle Technology Center
Francis Tuttle is a great place for students who want to get hands-on experience in their select field in a fraction of the time. Compare that with most colleges and universities and you will find that you'll be more prepared for a job, which is the ultimate goal of any college student. We have a lot of fun on campus, especially in my Web Design class. There are fundraisers, creative challenges, an awesome teacher for you to look forward to. It's also fairly easy to get involved in activities, because they help you become better with teamwork and building a better you.
The school is vo-tech, so you have several options ranging from Information Technology to Culinary and Medical, all of which are very hands-on skills. My class in particular, which is for Web Design, utilizes self-driven approaches to gaining knowledge and skills. It's really up to you how much and how fast you want to learn in my class. My teacher is awesome and extremely helpful, getting everybody involved in the classroom to do something above what is expected of us. The workload varies depending on the stage you are in your learning process; full-time students have double the workload of part-time students.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The campus is very laid-back yet fun, and we have several events during each month that spice up our school time. Students have access to computer labs at various hours depending on each building. Parking is on a first come, first serve basis which means...no parking decals! Just be up and early and you will get a good spot. The overall drive of the school is to be ready for the workplace, and so organizations such as BPA (Business Professionals of America) allow students to get exposure to their fields before they even get their diploma.
