As an Orthodox yeshiva, Talmudic University’s primary educational goal is to perpetuate the laws and values of the Torah. Student life at the university provides many resources to meet this goal, including an Israel Exchange Program that allows Talmudic U students to study at qualifying yeshivos in Israel.
Currently, Talmudic University’s academics include two degrees: a Bachelor of Talmudic Law, and a Master of Religious Education. In the BTL program, students learn Talmudic law, Torah philosophy and education. By the time you graduate from this program, you’ll be reader for the MRE program, which is more research-oriented.
Talmudic University’s minimum admissions requirement for undergraduates is a high school diploma or equivalent. You must be over the age of 17 and have a basic knowledge of the Bible, Talmud and Jewish culture. If you don’t, the university offers an intensive course to help enhance your familiarity.
Financial aid opportunities at Talmudic U include federal assistance and institutional grants. To apply for these programs, you should schedule an appointment with the Financial Aid Office to make sure you have the necessary forms and information.
