The Cayey University College of the University of Puerto Rico in Cayey, Puerto Rico, offers diverse academics including natural and social sciences, humanities, education and business administration, which emphasize innovative technological development, social relevance and international perspective.
The university serves as a foundation for students who are interested in applying to the University of Puerto Rico’s Medical Sciences Campus or Mayaguez Campus through articulated transfer programs.
The school contains two widely recognized research programs: the Howard Hughes Project, Rise Scientific Research Program and PR-AMP Program. These give students the opportunity to not only work alongside distinguished faculty, but to take workshops or seminars that will help you in your professional and academic development.
In addition, the university funds and facilitates the learning experiences of undergraduate students whether they do research locally, on another Puerto Rico campus or at a United States university.
Admissions are determined by a student’s high school record and by the aptitude exam. Students must also demonstrate use of Spanish, English and mathematics.
