Student Ratings

Student at This School - Grad Year 2012

Academics Rating

Unlike some colleges, attendance is not optional since the college is paid on how many students show up and how long they are in class for. Since the budget cuts the campus has been overcrowded. A class that maxes out at thirty students usually has an additional twenty students on the wait list.

Student at This School - Grad Year 2014

Academics Rating

This school has a ton of programs, for instance, the one I am in is for Aeronautic Science for training to become an Air Traffic Controller. In that field, there's the SATCA organization, where I can go and get help with tests, go on tours, ect. This school however, is incredibly notorious for being difficult to get into. The key is getting your foot in the door - Get a few credits under your belt, even if it's something menial like LIfe Management or an evening class, trust me, it helps get you an earlier registration date. From what i've seen, the professors have been very intelligent and well-spoken. My roommate in Cal Poly Pomona runs up to $2,500 in tuition for a full roster of classes, then complains about how his math teacher doesn't teach them anything - that just doesn't happen in Mt. Sac. The education quality is very decent. It's just hard to get into classes.
