The Medcenter One College of Nursing in Bismarck, North Dakota, offers high-quality training programs delivered by expert medical professionals and various immersive learning opportunities through Medcenter’s clinic and various agencies in the community.
Medcenter aims to prepare you to work in a number of professional scenarios, which is why it offers so many training opportunities at Bismarck’s schools, health clinics and medical centers.
Besides intensive hands-on training, Medcenter’s nursing academics feature a broad range of topics, which include behavioral sciences, humanities and natural sciences. Medcenter believes that being a nurse takes more than just compassion and technical skills; it also takes the ability to critically think, adapt and communicate.
Once you graduate, you will receive job placement assistance from Medcenter’s job resource center. From posting all available positions to working with you to refine your employability skills, the center is there to cultivate your success as a nurse.
To be on your way to take the North Dakota nursing licensure exam, you can apply by submitting your high school transcript and scheduling a personal interview. Additional admissions requirements include having maintained a GPA of at least 2.50 in previous coursework.
To support students from trying financial backgrounds, Medcenter participates in Title IV financial aid programs. Eligible students will also be considered for institutional scholarships and direct student loans.
