About The Wright Institute

The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California, is a graduate school in psychology that offers integrated approaches to clinical psychology and counseling in its strong academics.

The Wright Institute awards a master’s degree in Counseling, which takes between two and three years to complete. They also offer a four- to five-year doctoral program in Clinical Psychology. Both programs combine academic coursework with training in client relations and therapeutic techniques.

Students in both programs also complete an internship in counseling. Internships could take place at a school, mental health clinic or other facility.
