Overall

Overall, I think UW Green Bay is a great school. It is one of the smaller public campuses in Wisconsin, but I personally think that gives it a more personal feel! The atmosphere is really great. I love the fact that nature surrouds the campus, rather than busy city streets. The only thing about that is that to get anywhere off campus, you need to have a car, know someone with a car or use the public transportation system. The residence buildings are one of my favorite parts of this campus. Having your own bathroom in each of the rooms is spectacular! The room size is also a pretty good size. All of the people and staff that I have met on campus are really wonderful and willing to help.

Academics

This schools class sizes are relatively small. There are only two pit-class classrooms available on campus and are really only used for lower level/general education classes. All of the professors that I have had are extreemely willing to help if you go to them, and have all been sympathetic to the workload that is put onto the students on a regular basis. The workload I have found to be quite a bit more than in highschool, but I expected that. It's more of a problem of time management rather than the workload of your classes. Specifically the program I am currently intending on pursuing is a major in Human Biology with an emphasis on Cytotechnology, and I have found my professors and the faculty here very helpful in helping me figure out how to get there. This school has a lot of different aspects to offer within the Human Biology field specifically as well as has several other majors available.

College Life

This school has tons of clubs and organizations available. Though I have not been a part of any, a lot of my friends here on campus have been. Most of the people I know are in one or more intramural sport, which is one of the more popular organizations. Though we do not have football or baseball here, we do have a great woman's and men's basketball team as well as a great soccer and swim team. The games are a blast to go to. The weekend activities include "UWGB Nites" and "After Hours Dances". UWGB Nites are on Friday nights, once every month or so, and all have different themes, such as canival, and casino. After Hours Dances are also held on most other Friday nights and are just casual dances for the students on campus to enjoy. The overall atmosphere of this campus is wonderful, with great people and the amazing nature feel.

Overall

excellent experience. do as many things that interest you as you can. go to class, study and play also. join up with groups you are interested in to make new friends and have more experiences. be a leader.

Academics

night student. one class per semester for me. university offers courses nights and full time during the day. many courses have multiple sections. fairly easy to get the classes you need. some are very large, others are more seminar sized.

College Life

i was not involved in campus life as I lived off campus and worked full time. there is adequate food service, but none of the fun fast food or restaurants in the area. lots of activities going on in and around campus, especially athletics and theater. on site golf course.
