Overall

well I go to a Branch of Northwest Vista, which is in Kerrville Tx. It is called Alamo colleges. I would like to be able to go to the main campus but i am having to pay out of pocket for my school so it is cheeper to go here. I have visited the main campus and it is very nice, and i hear all good comments about it. Here at Alamo Colleges it is very small, not very many classes here, so the ratio to the teachers to students is very well. A memorable moment at school was the first day of my phycololgy class and just feeling very welcome to this school cause the teacher turned out to be my favorite teacher.

Academics

here we do not have many classes but it offers the basics. the classes seat at least 30 people and they are 1hr 15 min long. the work load is not very much, could be a little more to keep the students more focused, and so they do not get in a groove of procrastination.

Campus Facilities & Safety

The campus in Kerrville is very small, not very many rooms. The staff that works here is very nice, and the help you as much as they can. I feel like they do care about us, and they try their best. Since it is a small school the atmosphere is quite friendly. Most people get along, and is very easy to make friends, and study for tests in groups. The parking seems to be a little small here in Kerrville, but it is a small school so i do not see that we need a very big one. But at the main campus, it is very hard to get parking cause they fill up so fast, you have to get there about an hour before your class even starts, and that is getting a spot in the back parking lot. I feel like the safety is very well. If you take night classes there are lights in the parking lot so you are not walking in the dark. But overall i feel like this is a good school, just hard to me to get in at the main campus cause of my finacial problems.
