Went so long ago, not sure observations are still valid. There was a great deal of political activism in the late sixties and the anti war factions were prominent. The SDA once took over the Registrar Building. This factored into choice of studies as many students chose professions that would defer them from military service.

It's been quite a while since I was in school. I'm not sure how relevant my review is going to be today, but Brooklyn College served its purpose for me. I lived in Brighton Beach and needed a school where I could stay close to home. It made getting my degree a lot easier and properly prepared me for becoming a teacher.

Academics

I remember most of the classes being fairly small. I'm not sure if that's the case today. When I finished my undergraduate studies, I decided to continue my education at Brooklyn College in order to get my masters degree for teaching, which I think says a lot about how much I enjoyed the experience of being a student there.

College Life

What I remember most about the campus was how beautiful it was in the winter time. I recently went back for a visit and they did a really great job in preserving how the school looked originally. I'm sure present day students can appreciate the history of the school when they're walking through campus.

I am a prospective student and I am looking forward to be able to tour the school and then I would be ablt to give an overall view of what I think of the school. However, from my short visits I can safely say that the staff at the school are very helpful since they were able to assisit me with all that I needed.

Academics

I will be doing Early Childhood Education at Brooklyn College. I heard that they have a really good program. I have not had a chance to visit the classrooms or professors, since as I mentioned before I am a prospective student.

College Life

I am not aware of the social atmosphere, clubs, organizations, campus safety, athletics or weekend activities, since I am now trying to enroll into Brooklyn College. However, when I am officially a part of the school, i would be fully aware of these things.

Well I am a prospective student to this school. I went into the school more than once, however and I think it is a great school and I can see myself going to the school in the fall. The staff were very helpful with answering my question and I am very grateful to them.

Academics

I was unable to visit the classrooms, however they are offering the course I want to do, which is Early Childhood Education and I'm pretty excited. I will be able to visit the classroom etc when I'm accepted.

College Life

I haven't had a chance to check those out either, when my registration process is complete I will defintely be able to observe all of this. However, one day when I was there, someone was trying to get me to come to some meeting in the afternoon at about 2, unfortunately I had to disappoint the young lady by telling her, I'm bot a student.
