Overall
I love the diversity of the school. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people daily. I have met individuals of all ethnic backgrounds. I have also had the opportunity to become a member of Sigma Gamma Rho. At IUPUI there are many resources to help you stay in school and help you succeed. The key to success is networking and reaching out to individuals that have the power to create opportunities to enhance your future.
Academics
While attending IUPUI I have maintained above a 3.0 GPA. I have also been able to manage 14-16 hours of coursework. Some of the professors really care and some are there just to teach. I have been fortunate to have had man professors that offer office hours that aid me in my success at the university. My class size ranges from about 10 students to about 30 students in each class.
College Life
Over the years I have joined the National Society of Black Engineers, Student African American Sisterhood, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Black Student Union and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. I have been involved in intramural basketball and volleyball and desire to join the swim team.

Overall
I am currently a freshman at this university. I think this school is excellent for people wanting to commute from home. There isn't much of a college life so if that's what you are looking for I don't recommend coming here. Otherwise, it is great for academics especially health related fields.
Academics
Classes here aren't too big unless you are in a science course. The science classes are hundreds of students. Most of the professors are very nice and helpful. The workload is challenging but yet it is bearable.
College Life
There are many organizations at this school. There is not much of the college social life you imagine here though. Not much goes on during the weekends and most people leave. The athletics are pretty good as well.

Overall
I like how it has a college campus feel even though it is in Indianapolis. I like that there is so mant exciting places to visit and there is always something fun to do. At first I didn't think I would like it, but it has grown on me and I like the overall atmosphere.
Academics
The classes that I have been in have 20-30 students. The professors are all nice and helpful, and they are always willing to stay after class to help you. The workload just depends on ones major, but it's not to bad.
College Life
With the campus being so close to downtown Indianapolis, there are so many activites to do. There are a lot of clubs and sports to get into on campus. For campus safety, there are emergency buttons everywhere, and there are security guards on call at night if you feel you need the extra security.

Overall
I think it is a great school. I am in a fraternity and it has been one of the best things I have ever done. I have made many new friends. The staff and faculty is great also. I have loved all the Criminal Justice classes I have taken not so crazy about required classes. I would highly recommend going Greek. We also do a Jagathon that helps Riley Children Cancer Center. I have participated in that each year I have been here and all through my high school years. I was really happy to carry on that tradition.
Academics
Class size is great and the professors, teachers actually really care. If I have needed help in the past they are happy to give it. You just need to go to them and seek it out. They also usually understand in any emergency case if something comes up and you miss something they will work with you to reschedule. They want you to get a degree~
College Life
As I said I pledged a fraternity and it has been the best thing that has happened to me. I have made many new friends that I will have for a lifetime. Campus safety is really good and me being a guy I don't worry as much but they have a police escort service you can call always to walk you where you need to go which is great for the girls.

Overall
I really enjoy going to school at IUPUI. Being in downtown Indianapolis gives such a different campus feel than any other place I have experienced. Walking to my classes on a hip urban campus is great motivation for learning and taking pride in my school and education.
Academics
My experience of coursework at IUPUI has been challenging but met with staff and faculty that are available and excitedly willing to help. The resource centers for Biology, Math, Physiology, and Chemistry are unmatched and help every level of student.
College Life
The campus is filled with events from clubs and organizations. The campus pride for athletics is lacking, but not from a shortage of talented athletes. Spirit is growing for IUPUI to be a well-known and recruited campus, with expected improvements every year.
