Academics Rating

The class sizes vary considerably depending on the subject. For example, the new Zicklin School of Business building houses a 500-person lecture hall that is ideal for classes where there are a high number of registrants. Most classrooms tend to seat between 40 to 80 students. The professors tend to be top notch and faculty consists of people very knowledgeable in the subject area. Workload varies by subject but you can at minimum expect homework every day which basically consists of reading or problem solving, two or more exams per semester, one or more papers to be submitted during the semester or a preferred subject, and at least one class presentation.

Academics Rating

Classes are rough. They push a lot of information at you and you need to learn fast. The professors are very good and will help the students that need it. The free tutor resource through the college is quite excellent for those that need it. Be proactive with your counselors and your schedule. There are a lot of students in this school and you need to register for the classes you need as soon as you can. Plan it out, or you will end up needing an extra semester or two to complete your degree.
