The Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing is part of the Yale New Haven Health System in Bridgeport, Connecticut, which serves students of Bridgeport, New Haven and Fairfield counties in their pursuit to become highly trained and skilled registered nurses.

The School of Nursing’s academics are hospital-based. You will work under the guidance of health care professionals as you complete your studies in a variety of scenarios, like in-and-outpatient diagnostics, specialized treatment programs and other clinical settings.
Since the hospital and school are affiliates of the Yale University School of Medicine, they aim to stay on the cutting edge of medical research by providing students and medical professionals plenty of opportunities and resources to conduct clinical research.
The school strives to be an integral part of the community’s health by providing many community service-oriented programs. As a student, you can help advocate quality health care by sharing information, performing health care services and promoting wellness through specialty programs to the community.
Medical students who are interested in applying must submit the following documents:
