The University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, is a dynamic community of scholars that strives to become the standard for public research universities with its dedication to exceptional teaching, research, creative work and service.
Student life is full of opportunities. You can visit one of the campus attractions, like the art museum, heritage center or museum of natural history, or catch a performance of the College of Music, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, International Film Series or a theatre and dance production.
Students connect their learning with the needs of the community. They’re dedicated to civic engagement, whether supporting green energy in Haiti, helping K-12 students explore storytelling or launching Colorado K-12 science experiments into space.
Academics include many bachelor’s degree programs in fields from Aerospace Engineering to Journalism to Women’s Studies. Graduate degrees are offered in Atmospheric and Ocean Sciences, Art and Art History, Theatre and many more. Concurrent bachelor’s/master’s degrees are also available.
Admissions are determined by the strength of high school curriculum, ACT/SAT scores, two required essays, school and community activities and leadership positions.
Tuition is set lower for Colorado residents. Financial aid is available to eligible students through work-study programs, loans, institutional scholarships and the Colorado College Opportunity Fund.
