Description
“A second chance” is one of the promises made by Beck Area Career Center in Bud, Illinois. If you’re a Randolph County resident who left high school early and want another shot at an education, degree or career, check out Beck. Certification courses in early childhood education, law enforcement, welding and medical careers are among those offered at Beck. Beck Area Career Center also offers academic courses in such fields as literature and social sciences.
Whether you have a GED or not, as long as you are at least 16 years of age you may qualify to enter one of Beck’s programs.
You may also still be in high school, but looking into taking supplemental courses or staking out a career. If this is your story, you may also be able to attend Beck. Through its seven-school partnership, Beck Area Career Center also offers part-time programs to students who wish to remain in high school until graduation.
Students interested in BACC may apply for need-based aid through the Beck website. A selection of financial aid opportunities are available for eligible students.
