Pinellas Technical Education Center in St. Petersburg, Florida provides resources and programs to help students of all ages and from all academic and economic backgrounds succeed.

Comprehensive career education at the St. Petersburg campus includes certifications in:

*Landscape Management

*Practical Nursing

To accommodate those who may live out of the area or have schedules that won’t allow them to attend campus classes, Pinellas also offers online programs in Accounting, Administrative Assistance, Medical Coding and Billing, Web Design and others.

St. Petersburg Campus
To provide opportunities for students to practice, showcase and challenge their professional skills, Pinellas Technical hosts SkillsUSA competitions. These are national contests in which students from different schools compete, performing graded tasks used in their professional area of study. Finalists may qualify for special scholarships or tuition waivers.

Since Pinellas is committed to helping those of all backgrounds throughout the St. Petersburg community, there is also a Youth Education program, which offers career training to high school students. This comprehensive program also provides career services, academic advising, personal counseling and other means of support to those enrolled.

For most programs, Pinellas has an open-enrollment policy, allowing anyone who is at least 16 years of age to enroll.

Tuition assistance programs are also available for certain populations such as veterans, and financial aid through scholarships, loans and grants may also be awarded to those who qualify.
