The Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi is an open door, two-year institution that grants students associate’s degrees and vocational certificates in a wide variety of pre-professional career paths.

Jones County offers over 100 degree options. If you’d like to continue your studies at a four-year university, then associate’s programs in business, fine arts, sciences, and mathematics will help get you on your feet and prepared for transfer.

With more than 40 pre-professional programs, you can also receive quality instruction and hands-on training to prepare you for immediate careers in healthcare and industrial fields, as well as provide a substantial foundation for transfer to four-year institution.

Some programs include: Pre-Law, Pre-Engineering, Pre-Forestry, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Nursing, Pre-Physical Law, and many more. In addition, the college also offers certificates in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts and Food Service, and more.

Admission requirements vary depending on whether you are a first-time or transfer student.

Special student services include tutoring, study workshops, and career, academic, and personal counseling. On-campus housing is available, but not required for freshmen.
