NYIT Description
High-ranking, research-oriented academics, undergraduate and graduate level degrees and the most updated technologies are what you can expect at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).
Though its main location is in New York City, NYIT has campuses throughout the world. At the New York City location, students may get undergraduate and/or graduate degrees through one of NYIT’s distinctive colleges. These include a school of Architecture and Design, a College of Arts and Sciences, a school of Engineering and Computing Sciences and one dedicated to health professions, including Physical and Occupational Therapy.
Research is a substantial component of the NYIT academic experience and includes both clinical research and research activities in such fields as Science, Global Health and Education.
Since the school is located in the middle of one of the most vibrant cities in the world, employment, including internship opportunities abound. There are also numerous cultural activities, including some of the world’s best theatre, museums and restaurants.
There are activities on campus as well, including student performing arts clubs, academic clubs, social networking organizations and student publications.
First-time students interested in applying will need to submit an application, SAT scores, a personal essay and a letter of recommendation.
