CBU Description
A private, Catholic school, Christian Brothers University offers high-ranking traditional and alternative academics in an environment that’s committed to nurturing students intellectually, spiritually and morally. Located in Memphis, Tennessee, Christian Brothers offers bachelor’s degrees in a range of subjects including the liberal arts, education and the computer, engineering, natural and behavioral sciences.
Christian Brothers also has an alternative evening program for working adults. Students in this program may earn a bachelor’s in Teacher Education, Business, Nursing or Psychology.
Graduate programs include Catholic Studies, Business Administration, Engineering and a Physician’s Assistance program.
Student life is committed, in part, to helping students nurture their Catholic commitment to spirituality, faith and service. In fulfillment of this commitment there are numerous volunteer, community service, worship, and campus ministry opportunities. Other student life offerings include student government and clubs of personal interest.
Christian Brothers has different admissions requirements for freshmen, transfer students and graduate applicants. Financial aid is available to eligible students and may include a combination of scholarships and loans to help cover tuition.
