Our mission is to train students in the Barber/Stylist Program, which includes hair cutting, hair styling, permanent waving, hair coloring, and all phases of theory outlined in this catalog.

Barbering/Barber
Barbering students learn the art of shaving and trimming facial/neck hair and beards, cutting and dressing hair, fitting hairpieces, giving facial and scalp massages, and applying cosmetic treatments. Barbering students also prepare for licensure as professional barbers at various levels. To promote the success of barbering students, these two year programs include instruction in hair and scalp anatomy and physiology, hairpiece and toupee fitting, equipment operation, health and safety, customer service, and shop business practices.
