This past year, CSM partnered with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University to bring yet another transfer opportunity to the students of Southern Maryland to support the workforce needs of our local naval installations.

You can choose from more than 120 programs of study and a growing number of online programs. If your goal is to develop a specialized skill for a job, the college offers a variety of short-term training opportunities to put you on a career path quickly. CSM seeks to instill a desire for lifelong learning and an appreciation of diverse points of view, and values integrity, critical thinking and service to others.

The College of Southern Maryland attracts students of various ages, interests, academic backgrounds, and personal goals. Our students may be different in many ways, but the majority of them have one thing in common - they are exploring future possibilities.

CSM operates four campuses in the tri-county area. The La Plata Campus, nestled on 173 wooded acres off of Mitchell Road and the Waldorf Center for Higher Education on Old Washington Road, are both located in Charles County.
