Description

Cuyahoga Valley Career Center’s professional training program in Nursing attracts students of all ages and backgrounds.

Cuyahoga Valley Career Center is a public educational facility located in Brecksville, Ohio that offers additional career and adult education options.

The Nursing program at Cuyahoga Valley gives students the option of attending either full-time or part-time.

After receiving classroom training in basic and advanced nursing techniques, students undertake a clinical rotation at an area medical facility so that they might get the hands-on, real-world experience of working with patients. Some of the facilities where students complete their clinical hours include nursing homes, health centers, clinics and hospitals such as Medina General Hospital and St. Vincent Charity Hospital.

Since the program is offered through a public school system, the tuition is kept as low as possible. Financial aid options may be discussed with a Cuyahoga Valley Career Center official.

In order to gain entry into the program, applicants will need to submit an application, transcripts and complete an entrance exam.
