Description

For a unique community college experience, look no further than Lake Tahoe Community College. The mountainous campus is situated in the midst of the South Lake Tahoe wilderness, providing the opportunity for adventurous student life.

Of course, there’s more to the school than outdoor fun. Lake Tahoe Community College features a wide array of academics, including more than 55 programs of study.

Both associate’s degrees and certificates are available, so LTCC has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for career training or to transfer to a four-year institution.

The school also recently launched a Community Education program, which offers non-credit courses and workshops designed for personal enrichment. Some of the subjects of these courses include cooking, art, fitness, home & garden, language and culture.

Lake Tahoe Community College prides itself on low tuition costs, but the school also offers several financial aid opportunities. Scholarships, grants, loans and work-study are among the programs available to those who qualify. Additionally, California residents are eligible for a fee waiver.
