Provided by Colby Community CollegeColby Community College provides effective tools to advance learning opportunities that fulfill the educational goals of all students, while supporting lifelong learning experiences that meet the needs of the communities it serves.
Colby Community College is located in the northwest corner of Kansas, approximately 50 miles from the Colorado and Nebraska borders. The area is part of the High Plains, sweeping upward to the Rocky Mountains 250 miles to the west.
In addition to the main 80-acre campus in Colby, the college operates a 60-acre agricultural center east of the city. Students in agriculture-related programs utilize the college farm as a hands-on laboratory and training facility.
A pioneer in outreach education, CCC accommodates hundreds of off-campus students by offering classes at 24 locations in the 14-county service area.
Colby Community College offers a myriad of choices when it comes to selecting a program of study. There are over 60 academic and vocational programs to choose from in many of today’s high-demand career fields. Academic programs focus on fulfilling general education requirements to prepare students for successful transfer to a four-year institution or entry into the job market. Vocational programs feature two years of intensive training preparing students for employment immediately upon graduation.

It has an indoor swimming pool, Baseball field ,softball field, wrestling room, gym , a non-profit classic rock radio station (KTCC FM - T92 - 91.9 FM), and a clock tower. Their school colors are blue and white, and their mascot is the Trojans. It is frequented by both high school and college students, as high school students not only take the ACT tests at CCC, but also have the option of enrolling in classes.
Eighty percent of Colby Community College Students receive some sort of financial aid.
