Description

Located in Glendale, Arizona, only 10 miles northwest of Phoenix, Glendale Community College of Arizona (Glendale Community College) is committed to addressing the higher education needs of the local communities. Glendale Community College has a main campus in central Glendale, one in north Glendale near Ludden Mountain, and a newer site called Communiversity in the City of Surprise.

Glendale Community College aims to help students achieve their academic and professional goals by offering a wide range of associate’s degrees, occupation-specific training certificates and pathways to university transfers.

Glendale Community College offers fantastic career counseling services to help students narrow down their interests and talents, while academic counseling aids students wishing to transfer to four-year universities.

The Occupational Career Clustering program allows each student to choose a career path based on his or her interests. By narrowing the student’s interests, career counselors are able to identify which certificate or associate’s degree a student might benefit from most.

Glendale Community College has partnerships with several public four-year universities to make transition easier for students looking to earn a bachelor’s degree. Students can rely on academic advisors for more specific transfer discussions, including pathway programs to universities not partnered with Glendale Community College.

Glendale Community College is dedicated to community spirit, academic growth and professional success. Students find the support they need from faculty and staff to excel in their endeavors.
