Description

With a small student body, Merrimack College offers the benefits of a private liberal arts college in a small suburban environment. It’s also located just 25 miles outside of Boston (in North Andover), so the educational resources and entertainment of the city are just a short drive away.

As a Catholic institution affiliated with the Order of Saint Augustine, Merrimack encourages spiritual and ethical growth in addition to its intellectual and social well being. Student life at Merrimack includes an active campus ministry with plenty of opportunities to get involved, such as the Justice and Peace Coalition and Merrimack Out-Reach Experience Retreat.

Merrimack’s eligible students may receive financial aid, and there are several options to help you pay for school. Federal grants and loans are available to those who qualify, as well as merit, need-based, and special interest scholarships.

Despite being a smaller college, Merrimack has no shortage of academics. With over 70 undergraduate concentrations offered through its four schools, Merrimack has a program of study for everyone. Merrimack also recently established the Center for the Study of Jewish-Christian-Muslim Relations, to help heal wounds and foster solidarity among the three major western religions.
