Bethune-Cookman University (B-CU) is a school associated with the United Methodist Church. Originally founded in 1904 as a school for young African-American girls, the school has grown to become an accredited university.

Bethune-Cookman still operates under the original founders’ legacy of faith, scholarship, and service through its commitment to academic excellence and civic engagement. The school is located in beautiful Daytona Beach, Florida.

B-CU offers baccalaureate degrees in a few dozen majors, such as Nursing, Arts, Business, Education, Science, Mathematics, and Engineering. Through helping students develop and enhance the spiritual, intellectual, and social aspects of their life, B-CU assists in the betterment of its surrounding communities.
